POLICIES, TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please be aware by making an appointment you acknowledge & agree to abide by these terms & conditions. Pure Tranquil Beauty reserves the right to cancel, delay, shorten or charge treatments where reasonably necessary due to the effects of any of the provisions below.

BOOKING APPOINTMENTS

Appointments with Pure Tranquil Beauty are essential. To avoid disappointment we recommend you book your treatment in advance online, by calling, texting or emailing us. As Pure Tranquil Beauty is a home based beauty clinic, no walk-in clientele is permitted. We will send you an SMS reminder the day before your appointment, so you can change, confirm or cancel via SMS. If you cannot make your appointment for any reason, please inform us straight away, we will understand & it gives someone else an opportunity to have that appointment time. All bookings require a 50% deposit to secure your booking. This is refundable should you provide at least 24 hours notice. When booking an appointment it is vital you complete & submit the consultation form specific for your chosen treatment at the time of your booking otherwise your appointment will not be approved & confirmed. The full address will be given once the instructions have been adhered to & you will receive an official confirmation email. Should your appointment not be approved, we will refund your deposit.

ARRIVAL

Please note there is no waiting room at Pure Tranquil Beauty. Therefore it is highly recommended that only the person receiving the treatment is present. This is for health & safety reasons & to allow full privacy of the person receiving the treatment.

Please arrive at your appointment on time. If you are running late for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible as late arrivals may mean we are unable to honour the booking, or your treatment time may need to be reduced if we have scheduled appointments after yours.

LATE ARRIVALS 

We fully understand that sometimes being late is outside of our control. We will always do our best to accommodate late arrivals. (Within 15 minutes after your appointment) by performing the most complete treatment possible in the time remaining at the full price. If you are running late for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible as late arrivals may mean we are unable to honour the booking, or your treatment time may need to be reduced if we have scheduled appointments after yours.

Unfortunately, arriving 15 minutes after the scheduled time of your appointment may result in full charges.

We recommend that you plan ahead for your visit to Pure Tranquil Beauty. We'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about our location, parking & travel options.

CANCELLATIONS

If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Since we turn away other clients to hold your booking, any cancellations with less than 24 hour’s notice may result in full charges.

REFUND POLICY - PRODUCTS

We cannot give refunds on any products sold to due to personal hygiene  & health & safety reasons. If there is a fault with the product we can send back to the manufacturer for review.

REFUND POLICY - SERVICES 

Our treatments are carried out by a qualified therapist. If you have had a treatment that you are unsatisfied with please bring it to the attention of the therapist & follow the complaints procedure (detailed below) We do not give refunds on any treatments however we will look into your concerns immediately & try to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE 

It is our objective to ensure that every client is delighted with the services that they receive at Pure Tranquil Beauty.

However, we recognise that on occasions things can go wrong. If this does happen we will try to ensure we put things right at the earliest opportunity. This procedure advises how to bring things to our attention if you are not happy about the service that you have received.

We will ensure that all complaints are followed through, documented & when appropriate action is taken to prevent a recurrence.

The quickest & most effective way of resolving any problem is to bring it to our attention immediately. Please raise your concern with the therapist. They will listen carefully to your concerns and do what they can to correct any problems.

Please provide as much detail as possible, including details of your treatment, date & time of your appointment & your exact complaint.

Your complaint will be assessed & we aim to get back to you within 48 hours of receiving your complaint in writing.

ILLNESS

We realise that sometimes a sudden illness can prevent you from giving 24 hours cancellation notice (48 hours for groups). In this instance your deposit may not be refunded. This money is used to compensate your therapist, who set aside her valuable time for your appointment.

CHILDREN

For health and safety reasons we kindly ask that children are not bought along to your appointment. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

CLIENT QUESTIONNAIRE & HEALTH CONDITIONS

All new clients will be requested to complete a Client Consultation form before our therapist can perform any treatments on you. Failure to do so will result in us refusing your booking. Please advise us of any health conditions, allergies, or injuries which could affect your service when completing this form. It is your responsibility to let us know of any changes in your circumstances before your treatment goes ahead. We also reserve the right to ask you to complete the Client consultation form every 6 months so that we can update our records.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

You must be 18 or over to receive massage treatments. For all other treatments you will require written parental consent. We reserve the right to refuse performing treatments on any guest who is under the age of consent.

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES 

Pregnant woman can indeed receive many treatments as long it is not in the first trimester.

We will not perform any treatment if there is any morning sickness, decrease in foetal movement over a 24 hour period, vaginal bleeding or if the client is in bed rest.

CLEANLINESS

In keeping with our commitment to cleanliness, safety and hygiene, our equipment is sterilised & sanitised after every service & treatment.

LOSS OR DAMAGE OF PERSONAL ITEMS

Please keep your personal belongings with you at all times, & leave any valuables at home.

THERAPIST/STAFF ILLNESS

Unfortunately we may have to cancel your appointments due to therapist/staff illness & emergency. In the case that we cannot reschedule your appointment in the same day we will have to cancel your appointment & rebook you for another day. We will notify you as soon as we can if we need to cancel your appointment.

TREATMENT COURSES

All treatments can be purchased in courses of 6 (pay for 5 and get the 6th 1/2 price), however the full amount must be paid at the beginning of the course. Only valid for 6 months. Please note that we do not offer refunds on any treatment or products. We are happy to exchange it for another treatment or offer you a credit note depending on the circumstances. The only exception to this policy is serious or long term illness, confirmed by a medical certificate.

PRICING 

While we endeavour to keep our website and price lists updated, treatments and prices are subject to change without warning. 

*Inappropriate behaviour be will not be tolerated & may be reported.
